About Keyera

Keyera is a dynamic event specialist, keynote speaker, host, philanthropist, and reigning 2025 Miss Black Florida USA. A proud two-time alumna of the University of Central Florida, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication. With over nine years of corporate communications expertise and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Keyera combines professional excellence with a passion for empowering others.


With seven years in the pageant world, she has worn many crowns and titles, including:

  • 2024 Miss Black Miramar USA
  • 2021 Miss Miramar USA
  • 2019 Miss University of Central Florida
  • 2018 Southern Region of Alpha Chapters Miss Black and Gold
  • 2018 Miss Black and Gold for Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters
  • 2017 Miss Black and Gold for Xi Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.


Her journey in pageantry has extended beyond competition to include hosting, judging, and directing events.


Named to UCF’s prestigious 30 Under 30 Class of 2023, Keyera is committed to creating opportunities for future generations. She founded the Future Forward Scholarship, exemplifying her dedication to uplifting and empowering young leaders. Whether she’s hosting a memorable event, delivering a keynote speech, or mentoring youth, Keyera brings passion, poise, and purpose to every endeavor.
